OC MD 4th of July Trip

I have officially been a slacker lately but in my defense....okay I have nothing other than I have just been too busy having fun to sit down and write about it :) Anyway, I will try to be better. We had a fabulous Fourth of July. Brett's father owns a place on 10th street so we are very lucky to be able to come and enjoy the beach. We left Saturday night right around Brayden's bed time (hoping that he would sleep the entire trip and we wouldn't have to hear the call of the wild for three hours). He did really well for his first long car ride. He woke up once, drank a bottle then went back to sleep. We got there around midnight. Brayden was sleeping so in attempt to keep him that way I slowly got him out of his car seat and patted his back as I got him out of the car. What a joke....as soon as I got him out he popped right up and looked around (eyes like a deer in headlights). He was super confused, especially when we went inside and uncle Brock was talking. He got so excited that it took an hour for him to fall back asleep!

Fourth of July

We spent the day at the beach with our toes in the sand. We couldn't have asked for better weather...not too hot with a light breeze. Brayden did very well. He loved the water and couldn't get enough of the sand. He even had a taste! We walked up and down the beach, played with cousin Trey, splashed around in the water, and even took a nice nap under the umbrella. Brayden is an official beach bum! We didn't bother trying to watch fireworks...we were just hoping they wouldn't wake Brayden up and luckily they didn't. He was so tired from all the fun in the sun not even the loud booms could wake him!

We really enjoyed spending the week with everyone in one of our most favorite places.
