Summer, Summer, Summer Time

I am absolutely loving summer. Although my bod is deff not bathing suit ready...I could care less because I am just enjoying playing in the pool with my water baby! The first few days off from work were pure bliss. Wednesday I had a girlfriend from my Radford Teaching Cohort come to visit, Kim. It was so nice to catch up with an old friend and funny how even though we haven't been in touch how easily conversation flowed. We had a great time and I am hoping we get to make a trip down to VT to visit our amazing cooperating teacher, Mrs. Dowdy. She holds a special place in my heart and always will. By far the best teacher, Nationally certified too!

Anyway, Thursday was so much fun! Aunt Sue came out to Debbie's pool and we had a "School's Out" Celebration. We sat in the sun drinking sangria and munching on snacks. It was a perfect way to kickoff summer break! Friday was interesting. I dropped Brayden at Estela's and didn't quite know what to do with myself! I want to keep him there a few days a week so that he stays used to her, plus he loves going and gets to hang with Jennifer and cousin Trey. I made a stop at Trader Joes, caught some rays at my mom's pool then took my little sister to get her belly button pierced. Here is a pic of Becca getting her belly button pierced.


The weekend has been pleasant. I drove in and visited with my Dad and Susan. Then I went Yard Sale-ing with Lex and Pay. Not very successful but was good to finally see them! Next Brayden and I went swimming at grammy's pool then headed home for MORE swimming and a cookout at Debbie's. We had a blast! I will post some pics here shortly
